Very true I think he shoudl still fight Trout, but the thing with Floyd is that, yea he does not let people dictate ****, but it only seems to happen when he has a legit threat in front of him...

It's not like Floyd is ducking Canelo. What if Pacquiao came back and knocked Marquez out in their 5th fight?

A guy is an 8 time champion in 5 weight classes, has 18 world champions that he beat on his resume, and is going to the HOF.

I don't see Trout as a fight that's any more challenging than the Guerrero fight, I like both fights too, simply saying a win over Canelo would have made the fight more marketable and given it more credibility, I'm still not convinced Trout is as good as he's being made out to be, he beat a smaller fighter in Cotto.

And what made Trout the best? I don't give him no more of a shot than I give RG really. I might even get Trout less of a shot because he's not good enough to outbox him and he doesnt't hit hard enough to stop him.

The Floyd-RG fight isn't getting canceled you know that so at this point wanting to see that over RG-Floyd is a moot point.

how is guerrero just as challenging as trout? trout is bigger, stronger, rangier and his style is a bit tricky. he got a good jab and moves well around the ring. he beat cotto more impressively than floyd did imo. you're trying to discount his win over cotto and yet hyping guerrero's win over berto as somewhat impressive.

your agenda is too obvious...you're just trying to justify this floyd-guerrero fight which is a total mismatch. you can't find a single relevant advantage guerrero has over floyd...none.

Can someone point to me in the quotes where Canelo or his team say he won't fight Trout if he doesn't fight Floyd? The article says it's a possibility but why not have it as part of the quotes given then?
