Heres why the sport can't be covered by ALL sports media. We have people in the sport who act and talk like trash! Theres one thing to trash talk and its another thing to not recognize where you are and who your speaking to! This is why the sport can't rebound back to where it was, you didn't have the stars from the past swearing and cussing in interviews because they knew it wouldn't get picked up by the prime networks. The internet is fine to get the word out but the sports reports on espn and networks are a MUST! Guys like Mayweather Sr. need to stay in the gym and shut up, the thug BS has to go or the sport will continue to "dive"! Just shut up and ring the bell!

I understand that this is all B.S. but hype sells fights...See Haye v Chisora...Anything that gets boxing onto mainstream news is good for the sport I love and have since I first walked into a gym at age 12. It has been a love for almost 30 years now. This banter is good for the fight. Everyone knows who Ali was.Its not that he was the "greatest",because he wasn't even close, it's the aura and hype that surrounded him !!! Plain and simple hype sells fights !~! Regular news agencies have alrady picked up on this story.
