Canelo vs Cotto was a huge fight. Way bigger than Canelo vs Trout. Mexico vs Puerto Rico, and the styles scream action all the way. Definitely not a fight that would have gone 12. I thought Cotto vs Trout was very very close, saw it twice and had it 6-6[Draw] and 7-5[Trout].

If the fight was a Draw, we could have still gotten Canelo vs Cotto, and that would have been it's own PPV, possibly 500k PPV's sold. = More money or GBP.

Now that it's Canelo vs Trout, let's face it people saying they're buying the PPV because of that fight, they're only lying to make themselves feel better about purchasing A Mayweather PPV. Canelo-Trout as it's own PPV does 200-300k at best, even Schaefer knows that, "$12 million in PPV revenue", his words, and if you do the math $12million is 200k PPV's sold.

Schaefer knows very well that Canelo vs Trout is the best PPV undercard in years, and this will add at least 200-300k to Mayweather's already guaranteed 1-1.3Million PPV but as it's own main even it's only a HBO WCB/Showtime Championship Boxing main event. It's not a 400-600k PPV type of fight. If it was, then Cotto vs Trout would have been on HBO/SHO PPV, because Cotto has already been on huge PPV's as watched by millions in the Pacquiao and Mayweather fights, as well as the 500k from the Margarito rematch.

I could see Mayweather-Alvarez being a robbery. If Pac could get robbed that blatantly then so can Floyd.

I've bought Mayweather's PPV always based on the actual fight and undercard. I bought Mayweather vs Mosley, Oscar, Cotto, but didn't buy Mayweather vs Marquez, Ortiz, or Hatton fights because neither necessarily interested me into spending the money. With this, I got a fight I really wanna see (Canelo vs Trout) and a fight I suppose I wouldn't mind seeing (Mayweather vs Guerrero). I'm all about the bargain no matter who's fighting.

It's not Haymon vs Golden Boy, in this case it's Haymon vs Sulaiman along with major mexican networks who invested a lot of money in Canelo. I think Haymon is outmatched on this one...

At first glance it makes no sense but when you dig deeper, you realize that Pacquiao was at the tail end of his career while Bradley was a young undefeated champion, it was perfect opportunity for Arum to pass the torch to his younger fighter and make a lot of money in a possible rematch.

            Hahaha, this is hilarious.
So now Canelo is the one that's going to get robbed.

I agree, not that I've heard many claim otherwise.

and your sig makes no sense. how can Floyd be #1 at welter and not have fought there since 2011. And what made him #1 at 154? Beating Cotto? Austin Trout beat Cotto, why isn't he #2? Canelo?

I suppose there's a smaller incentive to rob Trout now that Canelo is far from being guarunteed a Mayweather fight
