Molina beats him but respect for wanting the best fighters in his division.

Cool fight. Molina outworks Smith but gets "jipped" once again.

Agreed. If he fights Molina with the same workrate as his title win, he loses.

Big props to Ishe in his win and in his bravado in calling Molinahe made a fan out of me.

I think Molina wins but not in the judges eyes.

sounds like to me they are trying to setup an undercard fight on May 4th

My same thoughts. I really liked the Ishe that showed up Sat night. I like how he showed love to the Sandy Hook victims, and I like how he was completely transparent in his post fight interview about his long road to finally grabbing a title.

I think Molina will outclass him, but he definitely made a fan out of me.

Say goodbye to that belt if you fight Molina, man.

His rib injury won't allow it.

Even then, Floyd said in the press conference after the fight that he wants to give Ishe his own show as opposed to his undercard.

He said "I want to give him a few easier fighters before a tough fight"

But it seems Ishe wants to go straight for a tough fight.

Got to respect him though. He could try and hold the title hostage but instead he's going straight for possibly the Jr MW with the best resume.

Not even like Molina is a big pay day for him.

I bet if he had some easy fights and a few defenses that Cotto would fight him and that's obviously a big payday for him but instead he's going for the highest risk with probably the littlest reward, money wise.
