In terms of P4P it's exciting times. There's guys like Kal Yafai, Jose Benividez jr, Garry Russell jr all coming through. And more established guys like Broner, Gamboa, Mares, Canelo and Rigondeaux that will surely be laying their claims. Floyd depending on how his skills hold up over time would or could be in there, Ward will be there for a long time and Donaire has some up coming fights that could possibly propel him to #1. PacMans time is most likely over, Sergio Martines is near the end, the curtains look almost set for Juan and I would have said the same to for Floyd has he not signed the 6 fight deal with show time.

Donaire has the best chance of becoming #1 if he beats Rigo and gets a Mares match and beats him to.

Ward is up there but has ran out of opponents. All he has is a few rematches.

Floyd can stay on top but fighting Guerrero doesn't help but if is a good showing he shall remain #1

Martinez has to continue to be impressive

JMM should be in the mix with another impressive victory

Broner has to step it up with a real threat

Amen. Looking through the 1st few posts & people are just dropping Ward left & right. Like there are other fighters who's done greater thing recently than he has. Well there isn't.

PFP in 2012 does not have anything to do with an entire career. No other fighter has dispatched more top fighters in or around there weightclass than Andre Ward.

I can't really tell you for sure but with the way it's looking we might have Broner and Canelo as #1 and #2. I mean seriously Broner #6 right now? This boxing generation is ****ED. He wasn't even #10 and jumped straight to #6.

In 2 years time if Mayweather's still fighting he won't be P4P #1, I doubt.

                      My guess is Ward.

                      Edit-

                      Infact, I would guess Donaire.

If he moves to 126 and 130 and continues winning then Donaire.
