Why does Lamont Peterson always get a pass or the benefit of the doubt?

Exactly my point. There's no such thing as testing for "normal" limits.Yeah the normal levels are 1:1, with training and the like levels in males have been known to go up to even 3.7:1, which is why you see orgs such as WADA have a cutoff of 4:1 and the NSAC have a cutoff of 6:1. I think with the 4:1 if i'm not mistaken the tests they do go up to 95% accuracy, with the 6:1 the doping tests have a 99% accuracy. I think even the NCAA has the 6:1 cutoff as well.Comment

Have no ALTs. Just hate when Floyd fans jump all over Pacquiao, then defend someone like Peterson.
Im only assuming you've been doing that, because of dudes reaction towards you. I don't know your post history, but I assume you were one of those guys.Comment

Nah man, the funny thing is that I hate Floyd, but dude came in here calling me a F l o m o cause I said something about Peterson, whom last I checked had nothing to do with Floyd.

Alright. Then my bad. Guess I jumped the gun.
I hate Floyd too!
NO ****.
Edit: Hate him for his ridiculously ******ed fan base, and his ducking ways. Was a fan when he was a LW.Comment

I don't believe Peterson get's a pass..He was suspended and did his time,no different then Marg's..Or Mosley still having fans,James Tony I believe even Roy Jones..Hopefully he's learned his lesson and hopefully boxing get's stricter testing..Comment

True. I don't even hate the guy. I'm just arguing the claims that he was just trying to get to "normal" levels. Other than that, it's whatever.Comment

I have to point out tho,you sound mad...Victor Ortiz vs. Lamont Peterson
The vast majority had Ortiz winning the fight.
Result: The fight somehow gets concluded as a draw.
Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson
A close fight in which the majority had Amir winning the fight (Including the two deducted points).
Result: Lamont Peterson gets the win
Lamont Peterson gets caught using steroids
Lamont gets caught with steroids because of random drug testing. Evidence shows that Lamont had an abnormally high testosterone level in his December 10th fight against Khan. Lamont most likely thought that the enhanced testosterone level was back to normal. He was wrong. It takes a longer period for the testosterone level to turn back to their normal level.
Result: Lamont doesn't get suspended, he can keep his purse money and the IBF lets him keep the belt.
Lamont Peterson fights Kendall Holt
The broadcasters portray him as the victim of the system and he gets a pass for using steroids in the Khan fight.
What is it about Lamont that either gets him the benefit of the doubt or a pass in his wrongdoings?
Is it because of his tough upbringing story?
Because he is an American? It's not uncommon for American athletes to use performance enhancement drugs. See for example boxers like Tony, Holyfield, Vargas and Mosley. Lance Armstrong being one of the biggest cheaters in the history of any sport.
Or is it simply because of his puppy wuppy eyes?
