Well when your promoter is fcuking you over to protect DAnny Garcia, of course you're gonna argue something dumb like that. Why did lucas face Dallas? Because GBP wouldnt let him face Garcia. Then before that he fought Ajose to take care of him because he was getting pesky about facing Garcia being his mando. Ajose is better then anyone Garcia has faced other then Khan.

I dont think Garcias being protected. GBP is doing a good job building him up. You think Garcia is vunerable, and he might be, against Matthysse thats why your pushing hard for that matchup. Im not completely sold on Garcia. But what cracks me up is for months you scream nobody wants to fight Matthysse. Then Shafer says he wants to try and get him a shot yet you remain unsatisfied. Nobody is against the fight. Peterson vs Matthyse is almost as good though and a realistic possibility.

If Golden Boy wanted to match Matthyse and Garcia after Judah/Garcia, it shouldn't matter if Matthysse gets an interim fight for a title. Both fights would only be 3 weeks apart so Garcia/Matthyse can happen next without any scheduling conflict. In the end whether it happens or not will ultimately be up to Golden Boy and Al Haymon so the mandatory spot is irrelevant. Matthyse isn't losing anything by giving up the WBC spot. Garcia/Matthyse is actually more likely if Matthyse grabs that IBF belt.

What I don't get is why you're so against Peterson/Matthysse when it has no bearing on Matthyse/Garcia happening.
