Who gives a damn about a mando spot when you can just get another title shot without going through the bullshit? It's not like being a mando means anything for the WBC. And it's not as if Garcia is a huge star in comparison to Peterson.

Lucas has 2 possible career paths.
1)Fight a bum in May and fight for the vacant WBC belt against a bum in September when Garcia vacates like a bitch.
2)Fight Peterson for a title in May and possibly have another decent fight later in the year with the leverage he just got from the IBF belt.

If you really believe Danny is ducking Matthysse than the WBC rankings wouldnt matter because Danny would just give up the belt. Personally I think Peterson is a better fighter than Danny at this stage in their carreer. I like Danny but if you take away his power hes pretty ordinary. But at the same time I dont think Dannys ducking Matthysse either.

GBP just pay the WBC off, why else hasnt the WBC champ under GBP not faced his mando in years? Ajose was sidelined for years being told he would get a shot at morales and then Garcia but nope. Then he was told he would have to fight Lucas to become the Mando again. Lucas won, became the mando and Garcia fought Morales and now Judah instead. This ia all while Lucas is the best fighter in the division

Well when your promoter is fcuking you over to protect DAnny Garcia, of course you're gonna argue something dumb like that. Why did lucas face Dallas? Because GBP wouldnt let him face Garcia. Then before that he fought Ajose to take care of him because he was getting pesky about facing Garcia being his mando. Ajose is better then anyone Garcia has faced other then Khan.
