    Arturo Gatti Wants Carlos Baldomir

Following what may stand as the upset of year, Carlos Baldomir told Showtime's Jim Gray that he will not give Zab Judah a rematch. The Baldomir camp wants bigger fights with bigger money, and the welterweight money does not get any bigger than Arturo Gatti. [details]

he shoulld want baldomir, i love gatti, but honestly this might b his only chance to get his titles back, and he CAN win, even tho it isnt probable, and i would love to c gatti retire as udisputed welterweight champ of the world.

Gatti has never overlooked a fighter like Judah did last night. HE had the opportunity to do so against Leija and was more than prepared

Once again Gatti is great in his weight class 140 but he would be moving up to fight Baldmomir- great fight but a mistake imo on Gatti's part.

Mayweather just moved up in weight recently as well and Baldomir has always fought at Welterweight.

Well he's coming up to 147 regardlessof a Baldomir fight so why not? Carlos didn't show anything special besides resolve and dedication last night. Those are ardmirable things but if a guy like Gatti takes him seriously, unlike Judah, then he will have little problem with him

                    Exactly.
Gatti is really quite a mystery. I love him too...don't get me wrong but he has made a career out of being entertaining in defeat. He sells tickets....so he gets some fights that others may be more deserving of.
