What kind of offense is effective against a shoulder roll?

Is there a certain style that a fighter can utilize to beat a shoulder roll defense?

Watch the first Castillo fight. And a fighter that can feint well, since shoulder rolling is a very reactive-based style.

Jab, straight left from the southpaw stance, overhand right, right hook to the body, uppercut.

The Castillo fight was over 12 years ago. Floyds not even the same fighter now. If you have to go back 12 years just to make your argument then just say you dont know how.

He still implemented the shoulder roll then. The thread isnt about Mayweather but just a general question about the shoulder roll defense, and which offensive style counteracts that defense the best.

I agree that pressure and creative, intelligent feinting definitely helps.

              Whitaker

                Watch the Segura-Calderon fights

And this was when Calderon had the best shoulder roll defense in boxing

If you are a righty, strong jabs, feints and overhand rights. If you are a southpaw straight left hand down the pipe!!

The importance of having a strong jab is exaggerated. Was Castillo a strong jabber? Nah he was a highly educated swarmer
