Skills plus smarts and chin win fights. Nonito has all of those. Rigo is a good fighter but Nonito is a great fighter and thats why he will win.

If Nonito wins, it won't be because he's more skillful than Rigo. It'll be because of his power. Guillermo is clearly more skilled than Donaire.

He has more pure boxing skills than Donaire but that doesn't make him a better fighter. Fighting encompasses more than just pure boxing skills, even without counting power there are things like explosiveness, athleticism, reflexes, ability to adapt on the fly, instinct, etc. You gotta look at all these things instead of judging fighters based on one criteria. Moreno has better pure boxing skills than Mares, Dawson has better pure boxing skills than Pascal, Berto has better pure boxing skills than Ortiz, etc.

Rigo was a product of the Cuban Amateur system! His skilled was taught by the Cuban athletic system. Same as casamayor & Gamboa. They came from the same amateur farms of Cuba.!

Donaire was trained by his Dad, honed his skills in the US amateur system. Then left his Dad and Handle his own. He's like Floyd, He basically Trained himself. Donaire is a Natural fighter, it just grows in him!

floyd's father trained him from early childhood through the amateurs. roger started floyd out, i believe, as a pro, because floyd sr was in prison. after he got out of prison he began to train floyd again, until they fell out, making roger his head trainer.

roger and floyd sr both fought as professionals. floyd fights a hell of a lot more like his father than his uncle.

skill set that is taught to you in the boxing gym.no one teaches you to take a punch and keep walking the only thing i give margarito credit for is his body punching everything else that you are taught in the gym is either non existent or mediocre at best in margarito
