Fair play to Fury for taking this bout in the US in his first bout there. **** knows what they'll make of him.

If Adamek is fighting Spiz, Skipz, Sziplo, the Polish kid I have no problem with that. That fight will be HUGE in his homeland & fights like that mean a whole lot more than being out jabbed by a fighter twice his size. It should be a war too.

Fury will be too good for Cunningham. He's really come on in his last 3 fights. His size, technique and movement will be too much.

Fury would also beat Pulev. Who has Pulev fought that's any good?
He fights stright on and very basic. Typical Eastern European fighter. Tough as nails but to ridged.

Adamek doesn't want it as would make more money at home. Besides if he won Wlad would knock the poor little thing around the ring like his big bro did for 10 rounds.

I'll be rooting like crazy for Cunningham here. He deserves it after getting screwed against Adamek.

You got to understand that when a fighter says someone is "not a draw," what they really mean is "He is a better fighter and will beat me, so it doesn't make financial sense to fight him because I will lose."

The IBF is not being fair to Pulev. They should have just let Cunningham go straight to a final eliminator with Kubrat.
Completely agree with all of this.

Steve stands absolutely no chance against Fury, and even less of a chance with Pulev. You can pipe dream all you want, but reality is He's just way too small, he couldn't even beat old man Adamek decisively. These are REAL heavyweights and as much as I like Cunnigham he's going to get hurt really badly. It is what it is though, He's a warrior and has his destiny in his own hands.
No Way is Fury fighting Pulev. Too dangerous. He's fighting the winner of arreola-stiverne for the vacant WBC title after Vitali retires.

Not always, but in Poland it seems!

The 12th ranked fighter facing the 9th ranked fighter for the 2nd ranked spot? Their math makes about as much sense as the alphabet organizations themselves.

3.9 million watched adamek\cunningham 2 in the US. if it was adamek\pulev they wouldn't get half the views. i understand adamek's point on making as much money as he can at this point in his career. a fight in poland vs spzilka would net him more money. outside hardcore fans pulev is completely unknown. i'm not even sure if adamek wants another shot at a klitschko. he could stick to fighting fringe contenders & journeymen & still make a bundle. he's 36 & nearing the end so a few more fights would do his bank account wonders. because of his drawing power he would be a prime canidate for wladimir's next voluntary. adamek would be better off trying to secure a voluntary title shot vs wlad instead of a mandatory challenge. i believe mandatories through the IBF is 75\25 split(although because of thompson's weak drawing power wlad was able to secure 85\15)so he could be better off going the voluntary route. he can still secure a title shot vs wlad at this point because if he were to lose to pulev in an eliminator he wouldn't get a mandatory shot & he probably can kiss a voluntary shot goodbye as well. this is a prime example of what is wrong with boxing. adamek's popularity gives him a huge bargaining chip when negotiating fights. he doesn't need to fight the top contenders because a voluntary defence vs adamek in poland or new jersey is far more lucrative then fighting almost every HW out there. other then david haye there is no better money fight out there for either klitschko. adamek is in the same position as danny green has been in the last several years. many CWs wanted to go to australia & fight danny green because they know they will get paid well, it's a great place to be(weather & beaches, etc)& it's a winnable fight. adamek is in the same boat. everyone wants to fight him in poland or in jersey. andrew golota was able to get 4 title shots all because of his popularity. he got paid more as the challenger then ruiz, brewster & byrd got as the defending champions...
