Oh Big Dunn and Bushbaby are gonna make 20 million excuses to why the fight wont happen. Once the fight gets signed both of them will come up with 20 milion excuses why Canelo's gonna lose. Then when Canelo wins the fight Big Dunn and Bushbaby will come up with 20million more excuses why Trout wasn't a real opponent and Canelo still hasnt faced a top contender. I can already hear the excuses now!

first off, long time. welcome back.

If you go back Ive said on several occassions I thought Canelo would be the 1st to beat floyd. I'm not as down on Canelo as Bushbaby.

As for Trout-I picked Trout over Cotto as did BUshbaby. I haven't made a pick in the trout canelo fight and wont until its signed.

Should Canelo beat Trout, depending on how the fight plays out, I will give him all the credit he deserves. If Trout wins, same thing.

Seriously why are ppl overwhelmed because Canelo FINALLY fights some legit opponent? It has been way past due..a long time ago.It's almost like one big graduation party for Canelo & friends for accepting the fight .There's not even a guaranteed win and if he does i could see NSB exploding this guy like some ATG,like the ones that have him on some top p4p list right now after the Josesito lopez fight.Either ways I see a competitive fight, a passive Trout trying to box the night solely depends on how Canelo will bring the pressure.I'll def have my scorecard very attentive in hand JUST INCASE...

I think your misusing the term "bum". Trout are equal in terms of resume it should be a good fight. I see Austin being to skilled for Nelo though. And Noone want s to pay to see Molina fight ever. Thats why he keeps getting screwed.

Trout will run for his life in this fight. Cotto is old. He got tired of chasing the guy hell bent on surviving. Canelo is young and will catch this guy eventually. Ginger should go for a ref that penalizes excessive holding so Ginger can employ an inside game.

Trout was hell bent on avoiding Cotto's left hook in that fight. He ran and fought as if he's trying to ward off evil spirits. He runs, holds when he gets caught, rinse and repeat. Have never seen a guy so scared of getting punched. Even Malignaggi traded with prime Cotto. Here is Trout, young, huge, has long reach and his main aim is to survive the distance as oppose to punishing and KO'ing Cotto. Cotto got tired of chasing the guy and gave up.

Canelo will catch the guy. I just hate runners. Doesn't matter who.

I agree. Mayweather, Broner, Hopkins, Peterson, et al fight the same way . Just like Whitaker used to fight. If the refs begin to penalize for holding, boxing would be, well, boxing. And those mentioned above would have had more losses on their records.
