That's news to me. I thought Canelo vs Trout was confirmed. What a bunch of crap.

I don't know that he'd be acknowledging how dangerous Trout is if he was actually going to avoid him though. I think it sounds more like him building up the risk Canelo is taking.

Trout has had no offer yet as I said already bit he seems to be confident that it will happen. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

after reading the end of that i do not think Canelo is going to fight Trout and it only makes sense apart from the hardcore and the in the know boxing fans making Canelo-Trout fight does not do that much for Golden Boy but a win for Canelo and setting up a Mayweather fight in September is gigantic for them.

Those beforementioned LEGENDS coud hav ealso been undefeated, had they not fought one another in their primes, multiple times, and sought out the easiest route to the bank. Junior Mayweather is banking that Guerrero is one dimensional, slow, easy to hit, as an easier route than a Devon Alexander, who has youth, and speed on his side, and it only takes one punch. You won't see Junior fighting Canelo ever, OR Pacquaio still. He'll probably work in a Bradley, who wouldn't fight against Pacquiao, he'll choose Alexander still. He will fight a much smaller, one dimensional Rios at some point. So there's three (3) nobodies thus far, and Guerrero makes four (4) of his 6 fight contract. Junior Mayweather needs to grow a pair.

You think ****** as ****, who did Pacquaio fight that was a live dog besides Marquez on his way to stardom? Oh yeah, Bradley, Pacquaio got knocked the **** out by a 40 year old man. No one does like Pacquaio, whenever Pacquaio was setup to fight stiff competition he demanded for that competition to weaken themselves in order to fight him, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez 3 & 4 and Clottey. However, the 3rd and 4th attempt on Marquez back fired on Manny Pacquaio and brought his house down in the business of boxing.

The nerves you have to even type some bull**** like that. You should be excluded from every boxing forum in the world for making such a comment.

OK. If Trout is too big of a fight to be on an undercard, give Erislandy Lara his shot since he's the mandatory. He'll fight for less.

What's the excuse for that one Richard Schaefer?

Y'all said he would never fight Mosley, cotto, and even Guerrero. Now Floyd is fighting Guerrero cuz he ducking Alexander. You guys are predictable as hell.

I hear you man but I gotta disagree with you on one point I'm surprised mayweather went ahead and decided to go ahead and fight Guerrero this kid is young tough and strong and comes with pressure I think this is a bad fight for Floyd you were right about Floyd cherry picking most of his career but I think at this point it would've been better for him to fight pacquiao at this point Guerrero is gonna pressure Floyd too much and make him real uncomfortable.

The networks are better off making deals on a fight by fight basis. If they commit long term to a fighter it should only be for someone that brings in the TV ratings.

In any case Golden Boy is doing very well for their boxers right now.

The only thing I didn't like was Schaefer ***** footing around about Canelo vs. Trout. I thought that was a go already.
