I think he'll get his respect if that happens. If he really KO's Trout though, I don't expect Floyd to fight him in September.

If he does win, he's the number 2 JMW in the world after Mayweather and the matchup in September is that much bigger and better. He should get props for taking on Trout when he could have taken on a much easier opponent and still have gotten the Floyd fight. Winning will not be easy though...

I think Canelo is a really good fighter and some of the criticism of him has been unfair, but I have been telling people about Trout for over 2 years. Trout is way legit. He's gonna beat Canelo decisively IMO and I think Canelo is the real deal too, just Trout is very very good if you watch him.

I just think Canelo is the real deal.... I really like Trout, but I just feel he doesn't have the power to keep Canelo from coming forward. Canelo is gonna wear him down, after a competitive first half if the fight IMO.
