These things happen now and again, it wouldn't be the first time in the history of boxing that human error has been responsible for incorrect stats being broadcast!

because when the weight is reviewed & then later confirmed by showtimes spokesman David Greisman you have almost zero leg to stand on. Greisman today will tell you that lucas came in at 163 & there was no mistake............
so if we're not talking about facts, what are we talking about?
conspiracies?
I say let's wait and see how much he rehydrates to in his next fight since in his last few fights he's always been 151-53.

Think a little more critically people, mistakes do happen and networks aren't immune to making them. For Matthysse to suddenly weigh 163 on the night when his last 3 fights he weighed 153, it's evidence enough to suggest that someone got the number wrong. But then for Matthysse to come out and clearly state that it was 153 not 163, it pretty much seals the deal.

Anyhow I don't see why anyone would think Broner could have weighed more than 150... it feels to me like they're just looking for excuses to hate on the guy.Last edited by BafanaBafana; 02-17-2013, 08:30 PM.

So Matthysse comes in at 151 to 153 for his last 5 fights but for Mike Dallas he comes in at 163The only fighters that gain 25 pounds overnight are the fighters that struggle to make weight. Lucas has no problem making 140, he weighed in at 138 for Dallas.
It was obviously an error. That's why they're called UNOFFICIAL scales.
