So let me get this straight. When the reports came out that Lucas Matthyse was 163 it was " No way I don't believe that ****" and how he cant weight that much or " Showtime are lying" etc but when HBO came out that Broner was 150 along with Rees it's now " HBO are lying to make it look like what?" And that Broner much weight more than 150 right?
& the only reports that I've seen (proving that matthysse was not 163) was he himself claiming the scales were wrong.
the only people that dont wanna see broner move up are bromos who would rather see their fighter fight bums and not the good fights just cause they want him to keep his 0
dude, you morons don't even want to see matthysse fight maidana (for what ever reason)
you accuse others & turn around and do the same exact thing.

but officially he came in at 163.........
I heard an interview with Matthysse saying it was 153 not 163 but it was reported wrong - the HBO team didn't catch it in time but think about it - if he went up 23 lbs overnight he wouldn't be able to perform in the ring as normal because that weight gain is too excessive. He'd be slow and off his game if that sort of replenishment was required for someone fighting at 140. No way was he 163 in my opinion - it would be very counter-productive on the physiology within such a short space of time.

It was Showtime, and they put out a tweet to confirm he weighed 163.
Why would anyone care! He made 135lbs so why be concerned what he weighed in at the nite of the fight! There are no rules being broken, I do think fighter rehydrate adding to much weight these days but if its ok with their performances its ok with me!! I want to see them add 15 to 18 and get a good look at them fighting hard for 10 to 12 rounds and see if they sustain their performances. Ray.
