Floyd was clearly winning but I do think Chavez did good, better than I remember . We all know that clean head punches score way more than body shots.

I loved Chavez. I think he would've won or atleast made it close against Morales with 2 arms

Don't be surprised if his fans come and down play Margarito or the duckage. They'll make a reference to him cheating, plaster and say Mayweather would've outboxed him to a UD.
yea margarito is a overrated by people that either don't like floyd or are mexican.what has he really done?call out mayweather ? what about margarito ducking a williams rematch?

I'm a huge Floyd fan but will be forever disapointed that we never got to see the best Floyd. SFW was great and he moved up to LW naturally. After that though he chased the big money/fame fight with Oscar. This caused him to rapidly move through weight classes while being a smaller guy.

He could've and should've stayed at LW for way longer. Then he should've moved to 140 and stayed there until just like 3 years ago. He was never that big. Margarito would've given him problems only because he was mad small at the time which forced him to fight defensively in nearly every fight.

Floyd still was smallest than mist WW's by the Mosley fight but he had grown into the wright. He had become strong and bus mentality had become mire offensive. That Floyd was much stronger and way better equipped physically & mentally than the guy who was first at WW. That guy kills a prime Margarito imo.

The sad thing is we never got to see Floyd physically strong with an aggressive offensive mentality like he has now combined with the youth SB athleticism of his prime years. We never saw it because he jumped divisions too soon while he was a smaller guy. That's what I said we never got to see the best version of Floyd

Floyd was not interested in testing himself to that extent. Man I miss Margarito! Once in a lifetime fighter/SOB!

Margaritos great accomplishment was calling Mayweather out. Nevermind what he did in the ring. Call Mayweather out and become an ATG. Nevermind that he lost to bums like Daniel Santos. Whats next SRL vs Guerrero threads?

Margarito in his prime was the worse style match up for floyd. Basically if you try to box floyd there's no way you are winning it has to be someone willing to take punishment and dish out his own. That's why floyd was scared of tony and pac because those two won't box with floyd, those two will fight and had the chins and toughness to do it. Tony had the chin and toughness to keep coming forward and floyd did not have the firepower to keep that tony off. Would have been a hell of a fight.
