Why all the hate for Cotto?

Why so much hate?

We have ridiculous posters on here saying that Sergio Martinez has accomplished more in his career than Miguel Cotto...

World Champions faced- 6

Turned Pro in 97'


Miguel Angel Cotto (37-4-0 30KOs)

Record in title fights- 17-4 14KOs

World champions faced- 17

Turned Pro in 01'


Truth is Martinez hasnt accomplished a fourth of what Cotto has in his career

Let's take it a step further .... how about Marquez?

how does he stack up against Mayweather and Pacquiao? Quite well actually...

Pointing out that his last solid win was against a past prime mosley, is not hate just facts.

Mosley was on a 6 fight winstreak heading in to their bout... his last loss coming outside of his natural weightclass to winky wright... floyd and manny hold wins over shane....however those wins were 3 and 4 years after cottos...respectively

vacant because no one wanted to face you... nothing wrong with that... he beat every credible opponent at 140... where was Ricky Hatton? fighting bums and getting his shot against a big name in tszyu (a guy cotto would have KOed for sure).... he fights pinto at 140... a guy who hatton chose not to fight.... an undefeated fighter.... for his vacant welterweight crown again he fights another undefeated fighter in Carlos Quintana (who had just taken Joel Julios 0).... is there shame in facing talented undefeated fighters? keep digging.
