i see him fighting a tuneup fight against a weak opponent like Mike Jones before he steps in with Bradley, Rios, or Marquez. Marquez makes the most money so they'll probably tap that to be in September to compete with Mayweather vs. Alvarez if that happens. I believe he loses to Rios. That kid is underrated and comes to ****. Pac will beat him though, but if Rios can wear him down, it's a wrap. Bradley probably won't ever get a shoot after the first debacle. He's forever in limbo, imo.

Pre-KO I'd go with Manny as a big favorite, now I still lean towards him...but barely. And I agree, Rios is no tune-up by any stretch of the imagination.

        he too strong for pacquaio.
Rios is good but he takes too much. That will cost cost him against elite fighters. What you say about him being strong is true. He is also durable. His style unfortunately will betray him at some point.

True. this is the only thing that worries me about him because when he first started his was more boxer then brawler but somewher along the line he turned into this brawler but he know how to fight on the outside if it comes to that well at least his early fights will say that.

The fight I want to see is Manny Pacquiao vs Lucas Matthysse.

I wish Arum would pay a flat fee to GBP for Lucas' services.

With that said, Pacquiao vs Bradley or Pacquiao vs Rios are two good fights as well.

I think he fell in love with this style that creates excitement. He falls into brawls that he he too good of a boxer to be invovled in. Now people expect it and he has to give it to them because it has helped his popularity. I was never really comfortable with him fighting this style at 140lbs.

Now THIS would be a terrific tuneup. Paulie offers absolutely zero risk; MP would mop the floor with Paulie. Plus it's a decent (I guess?) name to add to the resume.

no paulie is not decent. he flat out sucks. he couldn't beat pablo cano. he loses every single fight against good opposition and some against bad opposition like cano and ngoudjo. he has to be the single biggest waste of space on cable boxing. he should be fighting charlie zelenoff and brian sutherland. both who i would pick to beat him.

I agree Paulie is garbage, but for whatever reason has a halfway semi-decent name (in name only).

And yes, of course Brian Sutherland would take Paulie's soul away from him in spectacular fashion.
