I really love to see first PAC finishes unsettled business with JMM before anyfight but PAC-EM match-up is something to wish for, I hope to see the contract signed, seal and delivered ASAP ...

I think that's the biggest problem right now. There's no official announcement about this fight.

I think Manny should focus on training so he can be ready to fight anyone. MP should not discard February 26 yet. Roach should see to it that Pacman is ready anytime. A surprise might still be around the corner.

b4 anyone gets their panties in a bunch, i am a self confessed HUGE fan of marquez. i've always thought he is one of the most fundamentally sound boxers in the sport ... speed, combos, jab, great lateral and foot movement and good power and this even after his war w/ pac-man.

now, what he and his team did, request 1.5 million was a straight ***** move, first that little ***** winky, now, and this pains me like hell to say, this ***** marquez.

i'm very saddened that this fight isn't coming off, i'd always rather see pac in there w/ jmm.

I agree it is a major ***** move...JMM was gonna get KO'd anyway...In my humble opinion. Oh well, Pacman Vs. Erik Morales will be exciting so it's not a complete loss.

I really feel sorry for you idol JMM! I believe it's not him but his managers and promoter who were calling the shots. And what a ****** call to make! When they demanded 1.5M, I knew the fight won't push through. A case of JMM being with the wrong people at the wrong time? TOUGH LUCK!

Give me a break, Juan Manuel Marquez did that on purpose to avoid Manny Pacquiao, because the Marquez camp knew that their beloved fighter would be slaughtered inside the ring. Juan Manuel Marqeuz already went down 3 times in the first round. In a rematch this number would be doubled and the fight wouldn't last long, because the Pacman would blast this "El Dynamita" away. The way Marquez fought in his last fight was a disgrace, and he called himself as a champion. Against the Pacman he would be carried away on a stretcher.
