I am going for Rigondeaux. Donair has a FAR BETTER Pro resume and Rigondeaux has not had any top level pro fights to really work out if he has fully transitioned from amateur to pro but Donair gets hit too easy and Rigondeaux is elusive, It will be a great fight and will not be shocked if either guy wins.
I like both these fighters. But I like Rigondeaux more. I just really wish he wins this fight. But I don't see it happening. The way he was hurt in his last fight concerns me and makes me believe he could be KO'd. And if it doesn't happen, I think he'll be too inactive to win on points.
I don't think Rigo is overrated at all. I was referring to what I believed was Bushbaby's view of Guillermo, and asked him if he thought likewise about Nonito.
I criticize almost all fighters. Even the 1's I do support. In fact the only fighter that I can think of off the top of my head that I haven't found anything to be critical of lately is probably Abner Mares & Mikey Garcia.
My prediction for this fight? Both fighters will suffer knockdowns. Not too sure who will win but I am sure that both fighters will get dropped due to making a mistake and paying a price.
If this fight is anything but boring, Donaire wins by KO. Rigo has the worst chin in boxing, and I doubt he can survive even a somewhat competitive fight. I still expect Rigondeaux to come out on top by fighting a smart, calculated fight that's heavy on attacks to the body. I can't really call whether it goes to decision or not.
