Just as overrated, So you think Rigo is over rated after all huh. Glad to see you finally admit it.Originally posted by CubanGuyNYC;,13015319You've always been critical of Rigo. Why are you undecided on the outcome of this fight? Do you think Donaire is just as "overrated?"Comment

I'll take Donaire. By KO. He might even be behind on points when it happens, but I don't think Rigo has the whiskers to stand up to Nonito.
Also Willy is still very inexperieneced in the pros and against upper tier opposition.
Yeah. Nonito Donaire KO9 Guillermo Rigondeux.

All true statements. But I think people allow all that to cloud their view of Rigo's positive attributes. If it weren't for the questions you've raised, I might be inclined to pick Guillermo in this fight. As it is, I think it's a pick 'em fight.i think people have the reasons to underestimate him tho ... first off , he's not proven in the elite level yet , has been hurt by mediocre opponent, and has the tendency to be overly defensive...
like i said, i might be underestimating him but we will find out soon , hopefully...i sure dont want to eat crow but i just cant say rigo has a chance with a straight face, he just does'nt strike me as someone who can beat donaire...but **** happens in boxing...
"Ring" magazine has Rigo as their #1 contender, with Donaire as their champ. Boxrec rates this a "five-star" fight. I don't think these things would be so if Guille was some talentless no-hoper who's fought eleven bouts against inferior opposition. Rigo is a real threat.Comment

Finally decided to take me off ignore?
I don't think Rigo is overrated at all. I was referring to what I believed was Bushbaby's view of Guillermo, and asked him if he thought likewise about Nonito.Comment
