By Rigo being more competitive you mean Rigo is able to keep Donaire from knocking him out by covering up and refusing to engage? Vic would throw more punches in a 4rd KO loss than Rigo would in a 12rd UD loss.
i don't know about that breakdown. Donaire-Rigo may well be more chess-match than crowdpleaser, but it'd be more of a competitive test for Donaire than another fight with Vic would be.
sometimes the ugly fights prove more about your capabilities (or limitations) than the ones where you look good. and Nonito would look a million dollars against this Vic.
Darchinyan would have been a great opponent in 2009. Now he's only a better opponent than what Donaire has been fighting recently. Darchinyan>Arce, Vazquez, Nishioka. Only Mathebula is better. But that is how sad Donaire's resume was in 2012, that a rematch that is 4 years too late against a 40 year old, past prime fighter, looks like a good opponent.
But I mean, does Donaire really fight Darchinyan? He's coming off a pretty good performance over some one who was supposed to beat him. Donaire likes fighting guys coming off struggling performances or knock out losses, or wins over journeymen.
well rigo won't sign the contract and mares is with gbp..
goldenboy? what about them? werent you the same guy who said FMW was ducking MP? so ironically how does that fight not apply to the standards of nonito not being able to
fight a GBP OPP
its fine with me! Dachinyan is exciting with his Braggart mouth! Then he will get Koed spectacularly. Rigo cant sign, Mares cant get out of GBP, who else is there?
