Floyd is probably being stingy as **** with Guerrero and that's what the hold up has been. Remember why he fought Judah over Baldomir? Baldo was asking for the highest payday of his career and Floyd wasn't having it.

Cinco de Mayo fights are usually announced before the Super Bowl so they can take advantage of the marketing platform. The fact that the fight still hasn't been announced means that something is going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.
That's a very interesting and good point.

      Maybe, just maybe.

If Alexander was faking an injury, and I doubt he is, Hearn has a SIGNED CONTRACT, and a very big lawsuit on his side to sue for bad faith business practices.
yea but here's the thing. in that article recently posted Hearn said if Alexander vacated he's fine with that and Brook would just fight the next guy in line. so Alexander won't even have to prove that he's really injured. he could just vacate and Hearn will be happy cause Brook still get his title fight.

I think Alexander is seriously being considered. This isnt a prank. Floyd has never done that or been like that. Great post.

This is what I think is going on.

Something probably happened with Robert getting the fight and everything go thrown off.

If he ends up fighting Alexander it's because something happened with Robert so they went with the next top GBP 147 fighter and that is Devon.

Something funky is going on though...

If Guererro turned down an offer from Mayweather then he is the biggest idiot on the planet.

I think it is. I think he's just showing that no matter what name is mentioned people will cry. Even to the point that people will say he's ducking Guerrero to fight Alexander. Either way it's raising Alexander's stock which IMO was the entire point.

5, 6 and 7 go hand in hand with #4.

If the financial terms with Guerrero aren't the problem then that throws using Alexander as leverage out the window. He could just be trolling or trying to make the Guerrero fight look more appealing... to the blind eye.
