Better Resume? Donaire or Mares???

Mares for both. Who's just flat out better? Donaire; by a wide, wide margin.

More important than whom is when... and, in one specific case from 2012, where.

Donaire's win over montiel is the most impressive of them of all for me. But as of late, the run that Mares has been on is incredible. All top fighters, not in between fights, overall more top quality wins. At 122, yes Donaire bc of Nishioka. Basically, donaire has way to many fights against no hopers for my taste. To his credit, he handles his business.

Why are the Mares low blows not a bigger topic of conversation? I don't see how you can rationally say the Moreno decision couldn't be in question due to that. Do I think Moreno would've won without them? Probably not, but we have to question it. We hear enough *****ing and speculating about juicing/PEDs...how is consistently punching your opponents in the testicles really that much better?

I like how he plays it off like its his opponents are holding his head down, even though he's clearing throwing the punches before even being in holding range.

the fact that Donaire went right into the Arce fight was BS.. Arce was an old, shop worn fighter. not to mention a style that nonito can capitalize on so he can look good. that win gets no credit.

Even without Arce win, Donaire wins against top caliver opponets on each division is way far ahead of Mares resume...

jeffrey mathebula - IBF world champion, no one has looked good against him and that includes caballero who beat mathebula by a close and some say controversial decision

and then you include future world champions: hernan marquez (went on to win the wba world title a year after losing donaire and later became the #1 ranked at flyweight), mthalane (went on to win the IBF world title a year after losing to donaire..he was the #1 contender to donaire's IBF world title belt)

and then you include former world champions: vazquez jr, jorge arce, and sydorenko
