I don't think Broner ducked Uchiyama, per say. But I wish he'd have fought him at 130.

Will Broner avoid the top people at 140 and 147 like Floyd did as he moves up?

Like why are you troll idiots even thinking like this. All Broner did is beat the sh8t out of the Number 1 Lightweight meanwhile showing no fear in the ring or our of it.
So why are you idiots so worried about him at 140-147? Hes 23 and hes a light weight. You fools are already treating him like Floyd in the sense that you are always looking up to the next weight class for somebody to beat him . Its pathetic.
The **** are you worried about 140 for? The damn 140 pounders at the top all wont even fight each other and you people are worried about Broner who just fought the top guy in his weight class. He broke his foot off in DeMarcos ass with ease and the next day the same people that were saying he would be ko'd are now calling the win overrated.
He hasnt shown any cowardice in the ring and hasnt ducked anyone. Not one guy. Goodness let his damn career develop first.Last edited by B.U.R.N.E.R; 01-31-2013, 09:46 PM.

He'll have trouble making 135 soon. Will he avoid the best at 140, a division loaded with talent right now?

Its like you are programmed to push your agenda no matter what. What is it with you Tunney? Duck what talent? Who specifically?
The 140 pounders ALL need to be fighting each other right now. There are about 6-8 different fight combinations that arent being made right now and were worried about Broner going up there and ducking people. Like really?

and Vasquez turned down the damn fight
By Scott Gilfoid Sean Gibbons, of Zanfer Promotions, wants his fighter IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez (33-3, 13 KO’s) wants to take on the best fighter in the lightweight division in WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (25-0, 21 KO’s) after Vazquez deals with WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns (35-2, 10 KO’s) in their fight on March 16th at the Wembley Arena, Wembley, in London, United Kingdom.
Gibbons said to ****** “This is going to be a beat down, and we’ll put the same on Ricky Burns…After we’re done with Ricky Burns in London, we’ve got no problem coming to Cincinnati to spank Broner in front of his fans and his family.”
Vazquez reportedly was already offered a huge $350,000 recently to fight Broner but he turned it down for some reason. It’s just as well that he did because Broner would have schooled him and knocked him out. I do think Vazquez is a tremendous talent and easily the #2 fighter in the lightweight division right now behind Broner, but he would be out of his element against Broner when and if that fight happens.
Vazquez’s awkward fighting style is all wrong for Burns. He doesn’t give you anything to hit because of his constant movement, his long arms and ability to avoid shots. Burns hasn’t fought anyone like that before. The guys that Burns has beaten either stands directly in front of him basically begging to be hit or they charge him like little bulls. It’s been perfect for the light hitting Burns up to this point.
What makes Vazquez so tough is that he punches while he’s going backwards, and he comes at you with such weird angles. Unless Burns chooses to get dirty by holding and hitting and throwing rabbit punches in clinches, he’s going to have serious problems in this fight. I hope Burns keeps it clean because I’d hate to see fouling by him and the referee possibly just standing there wide-eyed without making a move to clean up the fight.
I guess for Burns, Vazquez is considered the lesser of the two risks. After Burns chose not to fight Broner, it would have made Burns look terrible if he chose an obscure bottom feeder to milk his title with instead of someone good like Vazquez. This move may have been out of necessity.
Burns isn’t a pressure fighter, and he’s going to have to be one if he wants to have any chance of beating Vazquez. Even the best pressure fighters get dominated by Vazquez, so I don’t think a fighter like Burns is going to be able to do the job, I re

So in a rush to see him outgrow 135 to see him against someone bigger than he is that they think can beat him or they just want to get on NSB and claim hes ducking said fighter.

Props to Vasquez! Broner would never be man enough to fight Burns in the UK.
