Will Broner avoid the top people at 140 and 147 like Floyd did as he moves up?

I was just joking but now that you mention it, I do actually have a list of excuses in the event that he is successful at the higher weights....."Haymon is his manager" will be the first one of course. Then I have a few tailored for each opponent....Alvarado: "was already beaten to a pulp twice by Rios", Holt: "Peterson already took his sole", Judah: "he is past it and will just envision Floyd whenever he sees Broner", Rios: "He is a bum anyways"

I'm still working on the rest though....perfection takes time.

I want to see Broner vs. Matthyse, but it won't happen until years from now when Lucas is faded.

If Lucas is so good then he should be "FADED" by 2014

              Years from now?

Matthysse is only 30. I'd say there is a good 3 to 4 year window of the fight happening with both guys being at the top, or near the top of the their game. Christ on a crutch, give it some time.

And they say us yanks are impatient....

No, Broner won't face him until 2020 when he's an old, shot fighter.

The question is, does it matter what Broner actually does because people will harp on what he didn't do?

Judging by this thread I would say the answer is it doesn't matter what Broner does his fate is preordained to many. Good thing for him though is that those people don't really matter and will only make him more famous.
                      Bottom line.
