Based on what is Rigo the top contender for Donaire?

That dude is as overrated on here as Canelo. Ams don't translate worth a **** like they use to. I don't care what he did there.

Mares has never beat a 122 pound fighter. Rigo has. The ring has Rigondeaux #1 and Mares #2. So even Golden Boy's own magazine has Rigo higher.

Anyways, both are excellent fights I just think Rigo is the better opponent.

It's a title unification fight GTFOH. Was Jeff Mathebula the top contender for Donaire?

Didn't Mathebula have a title at the time?

As long as Donaire is fighting Rigo or Mares in April I will be happy cuz both are solid opponents that pose a legitimate threat than Donaire's last 4 fights in 2012.

Rigo has 11 fights... I think he should at least have 5 to 10 more before making big paydays in big fights...

So no one said anything, but further prove how overrated Rigo is.Dude hasn't done ****.

I hope Donaire just take the fights and ends the parade. His weak as amateur chin would in no way hold up.

He turned pro past 30 tho and that is not he's fault if he's talented enough to be world champion in a few fights and be the only other name than mares to be a legit opponent at 122 why shouldn't he get a chance at the big times.
