There's no need to do that if the WBC doesn't actually enforce the mandatory. Remember that Khan holds the WBC silver belt, so I think Garcia/Khan 2 will find some way of happening when it shouldn't.

I was thinking about this too. But, it's possible that he could fight Zab/Khan/Matthysse from April-December. It seems like Matthysse is gonna have to fight one more time before he gets that shot. I hope it's Khan. Knocking out two Virgil Hunter fighters back-to-back would be too funny

The WBC ordered the fight but it hasn't been FORCED yet. Once it gets to that stage we will see if Garcia droops it or not. Is Bowe your favorite fighter?

I don't get your post. You said not really but sounds like you agree with me. Khan fights in April then Garcia Judah gets rescheduled for around that same date (possibly same card) and then we have Khan Garcia at the end of the year. It makes perfect sense.

What I was trying to say was rescheduling the Judah fight won't change much.
They could've fought Judah and wait for Khan to fight... then negotiate for a month or two for a fight in the fall and then just not fight for the rest of the year
