I wouldn't be surprised if this was a way to make the Khan fight earlier, and then make the Matthysse fight later this year. I highly doubt Golden Boy will just refuse to put Garcia in the ring with Matthysse. Not now.

Will wait for Monday to see if they cancel the fight hopefully it's not serious and Judah career ends next month as planned

Garcia is no redhead Mexican with drawing power. Unless someone can convince me Garcia is a legit Mayweather opponent in the next year or year and a half, he and Matthysse will fight. There's no excuses, even Alvarez is likely going to fight Trout now.

I think I can answer that for you:

"If I'm going to do Malignaggi-Maidana, I wouldn't want to take the risk at the Barclays Center," Schaefer said. "I'm probably going to do a fight for Paulie (April 27), but I don't see many other headline fights for him at Barclays. Do I think Malignaggi-Maidana is a good fight? I do, but I am not sure that's the main event at the Barclays Center, a big, big arena. I don't want to put that fight in a huge venue.

"Right now, I have been thrown a bit of a curveball with this (Malignaggi-Mosley) fight situation, but we will move on. We will have an event on April 27 on Showtime and we are coming up with the right card, but it won't necessarily be at Barclays Center. My first choice is Lucas Matthysse against Marcos Maidana, assuming Matthysse wins on Saturday, from the West Coast."

Schaefer said there are several possibilities, but it will come down to money.

"A fight between Andre Berto and Paulie Malignaggi would be of interest to the networks and fans," he said. "A fight between Maidana and Matthysse is of interest. A fight between Malignaggi and Maidana is of interest. Now there are different amounts of license fees being paid for these fights, so I will go to Malignaggi, to Maidana, to Berto, to Matthysse, and I will tell them what the different purses they can make and we'll go from there."

Every time someone gets injured, there's a good amount of people that don't believe it. The fact is, fighters do get injured sometimes during training. If Garcia does pull out and makes an attempt to fight at a later date, then there's no reason to believe it was a fake injury. If they pull out all together and fight someone else, then there is cause for reasonable su****ion.

Lucas is the best 140 pound fighter right now that and so is Garcia. This fight needs to happen now, not after Khan, judah, Paulie, Morales 3 while feeding Lucas another Mike Dallas Jr type fighter

I dont know what GBP is good with Garcia but so far its not to make him fight the best. He will move up and fight Paulie before fighting Lucas

Depends. Card is subject to change so your out of luck if they find a replacement for Garcia. If they cancel I think Ticketmaster will refund your money.
