I disagree with the guy who said Ruiz, Ruiz has decent power, Holyfield wasn't totally shot when Ruiz fought him, unlike the Toney fight.

Lightest-hitting heavyweight in history?

byrd slaps his punches to put nice but non damaging combos , and he is an average cruiserweight in terms of size .
but i think that if he sits on his punches and fight someone his size , he may actually show decent power .
and BTW , ruiz right hand is very underrated , he can really crack , that is one of the reason people fall into his game , they fear the right cross . roy jones ould have tried to stop him , but he knew IMO that the right hand would crush him

I don't know about lightest hitting heavyweight, but certainly as far as big names go, Byrd probably takes the other. I mean, he's arguably the best in the world right now, and he doesn't seem to hurt anybody. I mean he stunned Golota a ****load of times, almost stopped McCline, and appeared to hurt Tua with a body shot, but eventually you have to stop someone. Don't forget Byrd and Toney aren't natural heavyweights though.

After the Williamson fight I say that Byrd is the worst in the world, I think about everyone else will agree with me, it was simply breathtakingly aweful!
Hurting Tua with a body shot doesn't take much...I think anyway :P
McCline hinted that he could KO one of the Klitschos...total bull, "Announcer: So Jameel who do you think is the best heavyweight champion in the world? McCline:Well we all know what happens when the Klitschos get hit...." Wtf...Corey Sanders and Brewster hit infinintly harder than McCline and would both kill him.
But Byrd doesn't seem to have much power, I would say you wont see any lighter hitters around anytime soon, they don't box probably anymore because they keep getting pwned.IMO

Ko power means A LOT to me in a fighter. This is why i don't think Ali is the greatest.
Now compared to these guys Ali could punch and a whole lot more in his prime, past his prime, and while he had Parkinson's. A great champion despite the overdone hype.
All in all IMO there is nothing worse than watching two guys that just can't punch and on the other hand there is even nothing worse than watching a guy last 1 minute with a puncher.
