Why does Goldenboy always screw over Matthysse and Maidana?

They both are like Sergio Martinez in a way, their nation aren't known to be big in terms of boxing fanbase so even though they have a fan friendly style they would have to go through some pain before they get their chances, Having said that Maidana seems to be the Zab Judah of the argentines because he gets chance after chance, and like someone said if he couldn't beat Amir Khan then he definitely isn't anything special.

Maidana got plenty of opportunities ?Not so much and he deserves more because fights with ortiz and khan for example needs a rematch , it seems that because of that fight with alexander people here start to hate maidana...

And with lucas it's amazing being the number one by far at 140 he dosent get the the belt and the purses he deserves

Personally I don't find Maidana exciting. Would rather watch Khan, Garcia and even Paulie over him.

I don't exactly agree. GBP has given Maidana many main events. They even gave him a PPV headliner against a mexican legend. The fans just don't turn out for him(Don't call me a Maidana hater either, my friends and I drove to Vegas for his fight with Morales).

Matthysse, he has got some main events from GBP too. I mean this weekend he's headlining a show against a no-namer. And remember the gate for Matthysse's last fight. Seems the promoters are doing a pretty good job with these 2 in my opinion.

Maidana is treated by GBP like old Mayorga. They want him to fight Canelo, go down to fight Matthysse or a undeafeated JM Keith Thurman! What about fighting a WW? People here say he is a bum but the truth is he is one of the most exiting fighters out there, he is young and has plenty of good fights ahead. As you all see GBP is starting to mistreat Lucas aswell.

Who said guerrero ducked maidana? Guerrero did say though after he recovered from his injury he still wanted to fight maidana but it never happend. So getting hugged/clinched for 10 rounds= destroyed? lol. Dropping and then getting a TKO in round 8 vs karass= barely surviving? lol.

They got Maidana fights with Ortiz, Khan, Alexander, Morales, Cayo, Karrass, Corley. They also got him a Bradley fight which he pulled out of with an admittedly fake injury.

What more do you want GBP to do for him? The only fighters Maidana hasn't fought at 147, that would be good match ups are Guerrero, Lopez, and Berto.

If the 140 guys want to come up, Matthysse, Garcia, Khan rematch, Peterson, Rios, Judah, Holt, those would be good fights but they have to come up.

At 154, which is too much for Maidana; Canelo, Trout, Cotto, Kirkland, Angulo, Lara, would be nice fights for him money wise, but they are not very winnable because he'd be too small.

A ton of these idiots said it. And, if you don't see how badly he looked against Alexander and SK, then you'll never understand why he's not headlining anything right now. I love watching the guy fight but it's impossible to have a rational discussion about him because his fans refuse to acknowledge his limitations. Personally, I think he's almost done. Hopefully he fights on to great things though.
