What I'm trying to say is...why don't Team Golovkin at least ATTEMPT to make a fight with Quillen...if it goes through, their stock rises a lot & have a great chance of fighting the likes of Martinez in the summer....and if the fight with Kid Choc doesn't go through, the fight with Adama can still be made easily.

How do you know they didn't? All it takes is a phone call, if al haymons people said they are fighting Rubio next team GGG move on. We aren't behind the scenes.

Quillin said no to the fight and took Guerrero instead because Golovkin isnt big enough.

And like Natas said, Rubio will fight the winner of the fight. Golovkin has ATTEMPTED to make the fight. All quillin said was no and then schedules 2 fights.

IBF threatened Froch that they'll strip the title if he didn't fight Stevenson...look what happened there, he's fighting Kessler now, not a unification bout but many examples can be given... Olusegun was mandatory for over a year & he never got a title shot.

Unification bout can take place instead of a mandatory with request....and most of the time it's been accepted.

We are not behind the scenes but i highly doubt Al haymon & Kid Choc are willing to negotiate when they have a fight in 2 weeks.

The problem is NOT the WBO (or whatever belt Quillin has) but quillin and Haymon themselves. They just dont want Golovkin and are willing to fight and are doing everything in their powers, along with HBO to keep Pete unbeaten and holding that belt

yea, he's already 30. he has to play catch up & i don't think fights like adama will benefit him at this point.

I'd rather see bika vs a adama bout.............
