Style wise they would meet head on and I don't fancy anyone beating Abraham in a slug-fest. His chin is literally iron and his power is also big. While GGG has a bit more skill, he's not a mover and style wise I think Abraham would get the best of it.
in a abraham fight you would also have to worry about golovkins skin. abrahams face is VERY hard to bruise. golovkins face seems a little easy to bruise.

all in all i think it would be a great fight............

can't get decent fights at 160. move up and fight a guy like bika or abraham.

i don't understand why this thinking is so taboo when it comes to golovkin (on this forum)
link? or is that your general observation regarding Sauerland matchmaking?

He already has a belt.... so he doesn't really have to fight anybody now

Because Al Haymon managed to get Rubio as Peter's mandatory after Guerrero.

Can the guy get enough fights to be officially ranked a top 5 p4p in his division before hes forced to move up. Or is thay just ok for Golovkin and not Sergio Martinez?

I like this strategy by Golovkin's team of fighting so frequently. Dibella says that nobody knows him, well the best way to get your name out there is to fight often and beat the **** out of everyone in front of you. By the end of the year Golovkin will be much more known and hopefully Sergio fights him in 2014.

well heres the problem. golovkin doesn't have a name like martinezs does. & I'm not forcing golovkin to move up. but if he can't get decent fights at 160. it's better that he moves up...........

martinez comes from 147 & he's fighting at 160 (thats 3 weight classes) ggg fought his entire career at 160.

whats wrong with a move up. even bika vs golovkin would be marvelous.

                  i don't get it

Unification bout takes priority over a mandatory.

Plus, It's no harm in their team for trying arrange a bout, they can easily get a boxer like Adama in within a month notice...let alone longer then that.

Pretty sure Chocolate wants no part of GGG after he refused a title offer from them in the summer
