In all fairness Trout just dominated Miguel Cotto who gave Floyd his toughest fight in years. We will learn a lot about him when he starts fighting other contenders like the Charlos, Andrade, Vanes, etc.

I still think Highly of Trout! As far as beating Mayweather? NO OF COURSE NOT! But I do think he can get back to the top with the right trainer, not sure if he changed trainers yet but someone like Mark Breland would be a excellent trainer for Austin Trout talents! Trout has skills but seems to be lacking as far as attacking offensively and setting up other things. No disrespect to his Trainer Louie Burke who been with Trout since the beginning but sometimes you need that former fighter that can show you some tricks

I expected him to continue to fight like he did vs Cotto when he looked more hungry. It is like he got to the top and just got too comfortable

I'd like if someone went back to threads when Floyd was at 140lbs-present and bring up all these boogie men that were hyped to beat him that either lost and became irrelevant or he eventually fought and whooped.
