Trout would have a great shot. Much better than Guererro.

I think he can too, but he will be fixed on fighting Floyd or Canleo, and duck everyone else.

On the other hand, I also think Floyd does not belong in the 154.

I think Guerrero beats Trout in a war of attrition. Guerrero has the better style for Floyd.

I thought he barely beat Cotto, despite the wide scores. I had it 7-5 Trout and I would not argue if anyone had it a draw.

Trout beats Cotto (who everyone ****ed on because Floyd beat him) and now that makes Trout something special? lol Trout is in the same boat Alvarez is in which is why they should be fighting each other before ever even looking in the same direction as Mayweather let alone across the ring.

I like Trout, just as I like Alvarez but neither has done anything special outside of beating a guy(s) Mayweather already beat.

I do think That Trout has a better than average shot at the top fighters. However Vanes beat the brakes off of Trout in the ams.
A couple of times too, no?

Exactly. He fights in spurts too.
Fights in spurts, yes but his stamina isn't as bad as Cotto's if u ask me.

He legitly decisioned Cotto but its not like it was a wide UD or anything. I think Mayweather performed better vs Cotto while being smaller than Trout.

Hes a decent fighter but there isnt much at 154 these days. Remember a few years ago when there were everyone like Winky, DLH, Tito, Vargas, Mosley ect ect it was a deeper division there for a while.

Rounds 9 through 12 are going to suck for Canelo in his mayweather fight.

Trout's physical advantages would give Mayweather troubles, but I think Floyd could find a way to neutralize them and beat him. Mayweather is always thinking and I haven't seen a fighter come close to out thinking him yet, including JMM, a very intelligent boxer and strategist.
