I tried finding that moment on video. I don't remember it very well. I know Farenas is a heavy-handed guy. Gamboa has been tagged with some hard shots before, where he didn't go down. I would call Yuri's chin "serviceable." It can be better, but it works. lol

What do you mean? Its the part where he almost fell out the ropes and was visibly hurt. He made it thru the round tho and came back the with a clear head.

Dib is gonna have to put on a good performance even in defeat (if he loses) or its gonna be real hard for 50 to get him dates and build him up. Especially without a belt. I wonder if 50 is gonna have any other fighters in that event besides Dib that we dunno about.

Man...if you knew what my memory is like nowadays, you'd know what I mean.

Yuri almost fell through the ropes? I don't remember that at all.

Weren't you trying to go catch this fight at a bar? Maybe you had a little too many drinks. Are you a Pacquiao fan? Cause if you are chances are that you also drank yourself to sleep. I almost did but I had work the next day. But if you don't remember none of this you need to go rewatch the fight and shoot me a PM with your thoughts. Looks like when it comes to fights your memory is as bad as mine. You can ask me what happened in last week's fights and I couldn't tell you one thing. (Sort of an exaggeration but you get my drift). On another note, I wonder what was going thru Tyson's head, he was probably ****ting his pants. I get the impression he likes Gamboa. Posted from Boxingscene.com App for Android

I give both men a lot of credit; they fought their hearts out. Both started gassing out before the sixth. They were literally exhausted by the final bell.

Looks to me like Luis might just be able to snatch the belt from Dib.
Yeah it was a good fight. A lot of competitive rounds but I felt Franco was the clear winner. In that fight I think he showed he has a little dog in him which he will need with Billy Dib who is a very dirty fighter.

This might be a very ugly fight.

And why shouldn't he? Yuri's his little brother. lol

It'll be interesting to see. Dib might not be all that, but he'll be the best fighter Franco has fought thus far. Luis needs to improve his conditioning, but he's got a lot of heart.

Yea since Gamboa came out they been comparing him to Tyson . The late rounds might be Franco's downfall. Experience and conditioning mean a lot imo.

Experience is important; conditioning is vital. In his last fight, Franco showed signs of fatigue before the sixth round. He was dog-tired by the end. Luckily for Luis, his opponent was in the same shape.
