Also, this couldve been Dib vs Russell Jr had Russell's people not pulled him out of the fight vs Franco. Too bad.

Gamboa will mix it up, but he usually brings the pain. Occasionally he'll go down in one of those exchanges. lol But Yuri doesn't engage for long periods. He usually throws a few punches in a furious onslaught, then backs off and pauses before the next spurt of activity. Franco was tangling with Muņoz for long stretches.

Lol you just reminded me of how fun it is watching Gamboa. Watching him go down then come back up and do his thing is one of the most fun things I've watched in boxing cause it also makes you worry to certain extend and go "omg" . Regardless of what people say I'm pretty confident in his chin.

Yeah, at this point I'm pretty sure Gamboa will go down but not out. I think he'll always have that little habit of going down from time to time. Other successful fighters have had the same habit. It's worrisome the moment it happens, but then you see they're okay and fight on, often KOing the other guy.

Agreed. Good for FNF on getting more and more name fighters on their show.

You can tell Gamboa was gassing when he got caught (who wouldnt with all that weight he put on overnight). And lets be real here, he got caught with a perfect shot that could've knocked anyone out.

It'll be interesting to see how 50 builds Dib back up if he loses this. It will be his first test as a promoter.

Boy, I bet Billy Dib is running around jumping for joy knowing that he is defending is IBF title on ESPN instead of HBO or Showtime. Gee he might as well be fighting in somebody's back yard. Way to go 50 Cent.

Just finished watching the Muņoz fight. I had it 8-4 Franco; the Argentinean commentator had it 9-3 Franco. It was one of those fights that appears a lot closer if you're not scoring round-by-round. There was lots of infighting. Those fights are typically hard to score. I give both men a lot of credit; they fought their hearts out. Both started gassing out before the sixth. They were literally exhausted by the final bell.

Looks to me like Luis might just be able to snatch the belt from Dib.
