Accept it, carnalitos. Lil' Floyd is not the big PPV star you think he is. He needs assistance every single time he fights. Of course, he'll take full credit for all the buys, tho.

If what you were saying was true, then on Mexican holidays promoters would just throw out all Mexican fighters on the card and it would do crazy numbers.
Fact none of Mexico s most popular fighters are on ppv. Not canelo, arce, marquez, none. When margarito headlined a WEEK after cinco de mayo he sold a whooping 12k. When chavez fought ON mexico independence day be did a staggering 470k, (and a lot of non Mexican boxing fans got it). So you can speculate all you want but number show mexicans are not a huge contributing factor.

But they are still American first and foremost, like it or not.
It's different and that's something white Americans don't and may never understand. Our culture is very important to us because we haven't forgotten the language, music, food...etc. Where as if you are Italian American, you probably don't speak Italian, never been to Italy etc.

It's easy to claim a culture or country but Italy is half way across the world, Mexico is right there at our borders. Not trying to get political but we didn't land in America, Europeans landed here. Whether it's California, Texas, Arizona or Sonora, Chihuahua or Baja California...we been here my friend and aren't going anywhere.

You are saying mexicans are so dumb 200k- 4000k of them will shell out $60 to see Alvarez vs Gomez. I dont believe that.
Again, you miss the point. Mexicans buy PPV's regardless of who is fighting....period.

Then why dont mexican boxers headline their own ppvs. Ufc puts on an event a month. If mexicans are buying PPVs no matter what they can at least put on ONE show a year. None of the legends are on ppv. They are free. Please explain why promoters would not maximise revenue. Morales, Marquez, .... none.

Marquez was on PPV, Oscar stayed on PPV's and Canelo will soon be there. Jr was on PPV with Martinez.....

What are you talking about? You can say it's because of the other fighter but it's funny the way Mexicans are everywhere in boxing and on big time PPV fights consistently.

MMA puts on PPV's and they don't do the numbers that boxing does for a major card. They also put one out about once a month as you pointed out.

I'm done talking about this. Do this, from now on, don't watch any Mexicans fight in boxing. Let's see how you like boxing from here on out...lol

What their Saying is Floyd needs help to get those numbers. If its not true then why does Floyd always fight during a Mexican celebration day and with a Mexican oppenent? Floyd needs to do this in order to get huge numbers. If Floyd was truely the draw and ppv king he wouldn't need to do that. If he was the king he would fight in feb in a different state and still break records then that's when I'll admit he's the ppv king.
