Quillin can punch. That's what makes it exciting for me but I think Golovkin walks him down. I don't think Quillin is that good of a boxer to keep him off him for all 12 and I don't think he can hold his own on the inside. He's a mid-range puncher always looking for that big right hand. Golovkin takes this but will eat alot leather himself. Good ass fight.

This will be a very interesting fight, Quillin hits very hard and is a true MW, however he looks like he's got a china chin. Seeing an old ass Wright snapping his head back with his jab was embarrassing. I could easily see GGG KOing him, but I could also see Quillin taking him out because GGG is there to be hit.

How would GGG fair on the inside? Quillin looks very strong, I don't think GGG would be able to over power him at least not by much, this may affect his fight plan since GGG loves to come forward and impose his strength on guys.

If Quillin doesn't take him out in the first 6 rounds then I think Golovkin takes it.

I'd also like to see how GGG reacts to taking a power shot from a big hitter like Quillin, I don't think he'll be able to shrug it off like he's done with his previous opponents, it may affect his style making him box more conservatively.

I disagree. Chavez did horrible at applying pressure on Martinez. He followed him around and didn't cut off the ring. He looked so confused in there and really had no idea what to do. Golovkin is a much smarter fighter. I don't think Martinez has seen this kind of intelligent pressure before in his career.

One of the best replies so far

I'm surprised at how many people are completely writing off Quillin. We've never seen GGG against a truly powerful MW like Quillin before, so there is a bit of an unknown here.

If Martinez can fight Martin Murray and Darren Barker than he can fight Golvokin.

            It's as simple as that.

martinez is leagues beyond anything golovkin has fought. chavez has done well at pressuring lesser fighters, and would look a total beast against rosado and proksa, especially rosado.

it's a different kind of pressure. golovkin is in postiion to wait for his spots. he's patient and will step in front of you to stay at range. JR puts his head in your chest, and he's one of the biggest MW of all time. only martinez was able to keep him from doing that at some stage in the fight, and even then he was almost stopped toward the end of the fight when he was caught trading punches.

well see what it looks like when he's in the ring with a gifted athlete and winner like martinez.

It would be good, but Golovkin would break Quillin down bad.

                    likewise.

what's quillin going to do when he wants to take a break and golovkin doesn't?

That's totally sidestepping what I'm saying.

How do you know that? Chavez hasn't looked very impressive in any of his fights to be honest. I mean, Andy Lee was probably his best performance?

Any decent boxer could have done the same thing. I bet N'dam boxes chavez ears off.
