im not harping on Garcia....I think hes an excellent fighter and he was winning, and in glad. It dont change the fact that the fight got stopped for a broken nose. WTF!!!! A broken nose....Ive seen many of fights with fighters fighting with a nose bleeding mouth wide open and can breathe out nose...and they fought on... The doc stopped the fight prematurely !!! for bullshlt!

Well Garcia is a young fighter, he is just coming up so yes he need a bit of protection when he can get it, his trainer saw one and took it.

So technically a fighter can get hit low or behind the head or whatever illegal blow and say he cant continue and it will go to the cards right? but how often does that happen? NEVER. they take their little rest and continue on fighting. I lost a bit of respect for mikey, its not like it was some devastating injury to fight through it was only a broken nose probably the most common injury in boxing.
