He got dropped by Robert Garcia's nephew in the 1st but then started getting deep in that ass. Robert being a smart trainer coached his nephew to say he can't see in the corner so he could get a technical draw instead of getting his shit pushed in.
Check out the fight and pay close attention to the end of the 3rd round, garcia is coaching him telling him what to say. After the doc gets there they say he can't see and then Garcia say's "It was a punch, it was a punch" in Spanish.
It was clearly a punch you can see it at 12:55 of this video, a hard right hand. You can see the bleeding clearly after it lands.

It was a smart move by team garcia but Roman got robbed of the inevitable victory and we fans got robbed of seeing a great beating that was coming.
