It was no longer fair you idiot. If they would have continue they were no longer be fighting for who was the best cause it wouldn't be under fair terms. Fight became pointless at that point.
Congratulations on creating yet another Pacturded thread.

This is professional Boxing if its to violent for you take a gander at Polo or Golf!No I can't see the future I can remember what actually happened. If Marquez said ''I can't fight any more my nose is broken'' he would not have slaughtered Pacquiao like a pig, he'd have lost by TKO ( As the broken nose was caused by a punch). For Marquez there was a reason to continue fighting, for Garcia there was none.
I don't know if Garcia would have KOed Salido though I don't exactly care about what the result would be as it doesn't matter.
The why they dont wear head gear anymore!Comment

OK, his nose wasn't bleeding, but will we act like it wasn't 3/4 inches out of place & clearly so?? I mean personally I believe he could have continued & given the fans more action with him struggling to breath from a broken nose. (I'm not gonna lie). But then if I were the guy being asked to continue fighting with a sideways nose, I really can't say I'd be up for that, can you??Comment

Why are you telling me about the nature of professional boxing when you are the one who has a problem with the rules. Maybe it is you who should find a new activity to watch, underground fighting maybe?Comment

i can agree with that. Im not accusing Mikey of quitting. I can see him knowing hes got the fight in the bag and why bother going more rounds....Take the safe road. on the other hand....OK, his nose wasn't bleeding, but will we act like it wasn't 3/4 inches out of place & clearly so?? I mean personally I believe he could have continued & given the fans more action with him struggling to breath from a broken nose. (I'm not gonna lie). But then if I were the guy being asked to continue fighting with a sideways nose, I really can't say I'd be up for that, can you??
This is Boxing and anything can happen. One punch can change everything. Salido was making work. He started doing better and in fact he needed a KO to win...his fight planned would seriously have had to change. And that were things get interesting. Both fighters were still in it. Look how long the let Rosado fight on! And he was in worst shape!Comment

Clinching is a veteran move. The ones that dont learn how dont become elite. Even Mike Tyson used it. Ahhh *** it.some ask "why should you give the fighter a edge that you're clearly beating"
this is not the point. what people are complaining about is the way mickey looked.
he was exhausted, catching bombs & salido was gaining tremendous confidence. garcias mouth was hanging open & he didn't know how to get out of salidos onslaught of punches.
how do we even know mickeys nose was broken? robert mentioned it & they ran with it. (it could very well be broken but i wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't) the same with donaires broken hand against vazquez (which was not broken)
mickey grabbed & held all night long. he put open gloves in salidos face all night long (trying to keep distance) he used his fair share of "dirty tactics" but no one seems to mention them.
i don't think saldios head butt was intentional. saldio felt like he finally had mickey & was happy to bring on a strong onslaught, mickey was leaning on the ropes catching bombs, saldio gets over anxious & the head butt happens.
And you couldnt see his nose in the shape of a S. What the *** are you talkin bout?Comment
