Does Frank Maloney have one million pounds to pay for Fury vs Price?

We know that Maloney has been saying he will pay Fury a million quid to fight Price, in this way they can make a good sounding "offer" on T.V and act as though Fury is ducking.

If we look a little closer however, all may not be as it first seems

Exclusive - Frank Maloney's company in deep financial trouble
    http://news.boxrec.com/news/2012/exc...ancial-trouble

So we can see here that a couple of months ago, Maloney's company is reported to be sinking, and is facing insolvency.

If this is the case, what are really the chances he can afford to pay Fury that amount?

I think Maloney is full of ****, and it's just posturing.

The difference is, when Fury postures, he's not very smart about it, and comes off looking ******. Price and Maloney know exactly what they are doing, and are able to play the general public expertly.

from what i read it was a financial backer who was going to hrlp, whichd make sense because the money generated from the fight would get him out of a hole

      Maloney is skint.

Price should have joined MatchRoom when they offered him the chance.

when skysports opted for another direction that sure hurt frank maloney. maybe there are just too many promoters in england. you got warren, mahoney, hennessey, hatton & i can't think of any others except the guys who put on prizefighter. maloney did good with lennox but he has fallen behind warren & hennessey when comes to staging events. hopefully it doesn't hinder price from the big fights.

He doesn't have half that. That's why Price is fight 50 year old men. He can't actally afford to pay a legitimate contender who can give Price a test.

same problem universum is having. boytsov is stuck fighting journeymen still will over 30 fights. at least price is getting decent domestic fights for regional titles.
