Did Floyd "retire" in 2007 because he was shook by the 147 division heating up?

I cant wait for the day the klits fight a pinoy or manny fights a northern european from the caucus mountains. then we'll see if you strange bedfellows are still in bed with one another.
Holy hell...you ever seen an Filipino that big? lol But as far as being bed fellows...whatever that means. the two will pull for their sided fighter and afterwards neutral respect will be given! Who respects Floyd LOL oh you do! :WORD: Same as the respect i have for JMM...an all time fav of mine personally.

    Yet another invalid point! :ANYWORD:

Floyd demanded smaller boxers like 135 JMM and 140 Hatton move up to fight him at 147 , but when Floyd was at 130/135 he was afraid of going up to 140 to fight Kostya.

Floyd was afraid of Tszyu and didn't know he was faded, or he would have fought him.

        Floyd made Hatton

        1) go up to 147

        2) fight him in his hometown with shady Joe Cortez to protect Floyd from the reach-challenged Hatton's infighting

Similarly, Hatton had Tszyu fight him in his hometown with a shady ref who let him foul.

Almost any time between 1998 and 2005.

Of course you'll say even though Floyd made JMM move up from 135 to fight him at 147, it would be unthinkable for "Chicken" Floyd to move up from 130 fight Tszyu at 140 during the years 1998 to 2001.

And even though you're okay with Floyd getting Hatton to move up from 140 to 147 to fight him, you consider it unthinkable for a protected pussy like Floyd to move up from 135 to 140 in 2002 and fight Tszyu.

Floyd even got little Jesus Chavez (1-13) to move up from 122 and fight him at 130.

Instead of fighting Bruseles at 140, Floyd could have gone after a fight with Tszyu. Kostya's next fight after Mitchell could have been Floyd, but Floyd didn't know Tszyu was faded and so Kostya ended up fighting Hatton.

Tszyu's promoter had no interest in a Floyd fight.

Floyd is no Henry Armstrong, Harry Greb or Sam Langford.

The idea of a pussy like Floyd moving up for a fight (like SRR moved from welterweight to middleweight to fight LaMotta) is unthinkable!

Why would this fight have made sense in 1998?

He moved from 130 to 147 because he got thicker and bigger. He couldn't make those weights anymore as he filled out during his 20s.

Floyd couldn't even make the proposed catchweight of 145 for his fight with Marquez.

Floyd is about the same size as De La Hoya, as we saw in their fight.

But Oscar was never afraid to fight bigger men like the light heavyweight Bernard Hopkins.
