Comments Thread For: Khan Eyes Hatton Revenge, Targets Senchenko For 4/20

According to a report in The Sun, there are ongoing discussions for Amir Khan (27-3, 19KOs) to face former welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenko (33-1, 22KOs) in Manchester, England. Khan is attempting to persuade Senchenko to come down to 140-pounds, but appears to be open to the idea of taking the fight at 147 as well.

Senchenko should not give in, the fight has to be at 147. Khan is eventually moving up to welterweight anyway.

      Nice title BPP.

Lopez v Khan would have been fireworks but imo Senchenko is the right fight for Khan at this point as he is trying to transition his style.

Senchenko should meet him at a 144/145 catchweight, unless he is unable make weight.

Senchenko is no walk in the park,Khan should be very careful who he picks for his next fight another defeat could be curtains.

As a Hatton fan I realise that but I feel Lopez and Ortiz are tougher bouts for Amir.

**** a catchweight, thats some ***** ****. Either fight a jww or fight a ww its that simple. Khan should take a page from Rosado and be a man.

On a another note I like this fight, its another fight Khan will be expected to win but is a winnable fight for Senchenko.

147 or bust. Khan, stop acting like a bitch and earn the respect that most have for you around here.

I think this is a safer fight than against Josesito Lopez but still a good fight if it gets made at 147.
