Yes, it seems most of the Klitschko nuthuggers have disappeared. Its a shame, really - the banter was good fun.

If he did? Absolutely. He won 4 of the rounds and he got the best round and the best punches in round 2. Lewis looked hammered in the end. If the fight had gone on Klitshcko would be the winner.

Remember Jim Lampley said it right after the fight….and a lucky escape for Lennox Lewis. If it wasn't for that cut…o boy o boy

He dominated him in the sense that he was ahead on all three scorecards before the premature stoppage. Not saying that Vitali wasn't hurt, but he had Lewis in serious trouble, as experts observed:

George Foreman: 'Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!'

Jim Lampley: 'A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight'

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch. Steward later revealed that Lennox' wife made him not take the rematch:

I am confident that for most boxing fans, June 21, 2003 is a day not to be forgotten. On that day, millions of boxing fans around the globe were left extremely unsatisfied due to the controversial end of the Vitali Klitschko (43-2-0) vs...

Lennox wanted none of a rematch for obvious reasons.

Vitali fans are the biggest historical revisionists in the world of boxing. I guess it's because they have no great win to point to so they have to A) invent one B) talk about his 'great' loss.

Getting tkoed by Lewis was the greatest moment in vitali's career and the best thing that ever happened to him. It saved him from being knocked out proper and enabled him to keep boxing by avoiding a potentially career ending injury.

Imagine if the ref had let the fight go on until Vitali's eye fell out and he went into shock from loss of blood. The only good thing about that is you wouldn't be on NSB posting this kind of ******ity on a daily bsis.

Virs fans should be thanking Lewis for giving there hero any shot at all. Had he not ol' Vittles would have only been remembered as the guy who quit against lil Chris Byrd and never sought a rematch.
