Froch feels insulted if you don't break his nose, he lives for that stuff.

Mikkel better be ready. Carl is an inspired, driven man.
Looks like rounds 4-5 to me. I should know, I just watched the fight 3 hours ago. And that's not true at all. Froch was hurt, by his own admission, from the Kessler body shot. It was an equal fight man, just let it go. Let's sit back, watch the build up, watch the rematch and go for a pint after the fight.

it would've been nice if the gifmaker had included the hard right hand in centre-ring that made Kessler sag and hold in the 11th, but file-size was probably a consideration.

Round 5, Gus Johnson, "Kessler looks woozy!"

Round 11, Gus Johnson, "Kessler looks a little wobbly!"

Round 12, Gus Johnson, "Kessler, backing up now, and he'll tie up Carl Froch with twenty-seven seconds remaining. Kessler fighting for his Super Six life!"

I'd never deny that Froch was rocked, too. but Kessler more often.

you seem like an enthusiastic fellow. pro-Kessler for sure but much less sour and stuffy than our friend, BattlingNelson.

If the IBF takes away the title from Froch then they are awfully ******, they'd get a lot more press from either of these fighters than anything that Stevenson could ever produce

Andrew5550 - this will be a good I agree let's just sit back enjoy the buidl up because we are going to have 4 months of this, I think we will all be sick of it by then - I don't understand why this can't take place by late March or early April. - the point I was going to make is that Kessler won their first fight by 3 rounds I know some people don't want to admit this but hey ho - that's life.

I posted a videoclip here once where he clearly states that he had a hand injury. But I think maybe his hand was fine for the fight but it hindered his preparations (no sparring).

                Truly can't wait.

Big Froch fan but I also very much like Kessler. As I've said many times waiting for this to happen, I expect a deal to be done, I expect a good build-up and I expect a tremendous fight. I've got Froch by UD (115-113 116-112 type fight) in an action packed event.

They want to have a nice, slow build up. Get as many tickets sold as possible and remember these guys aren't young anymore. They fight twice a year, 1 summer, 1 winter. So it pretty much follows both of their schedules. But yeah, not really any point in arguing over who won the first fight anymore. Though Kessler raised his hand like a champ, and Froch looked down in defeat when the fight was over. They both knew.

True I won't argue there they are going to full out if the fight is like anything of the last one we are in for a treat Froch slightly ahead because of the location but it will be good anyhow I just hope whatever the result there is no controversy we've had enough of those - what do you think of the winner to face Oosthuizen v Stevenson as I have funny feeling that will now be on the cards now.
