He cries and cries about his precious rematch with garcia, he names a bunch of other fighters except for maidana. Oh and top of that it was also one of the best fights of 2010.

****** fight for Khan. He already beat his ass, Maidana is at welterweight where he hasn't done ****, lost 10 rounds against Devon Alexander a B- fighter at best and expects a title shot for some odd reason.

It does absolutely nothing for his career, his legacy, there's no money in this fight, it won't push him up in the rankings, it doesn't get him closer to a world title shot, it doesn't prepare him for Danny Garcia. Why would he take this fight?

Because this time, Joe Cortez wouldn't be in the ring to help him. And even with that crap, Maidana almost KOd him, or do you forget that little detail?

Dayum! lol, but yeah, it doesn't make much sense. Maidana should try and get a fight with Malignaggi, bust his head in and get his belt.

Malignaggi/Mosley is signed and sealed. And the winner of that will likely see Brook/Alexander.

Maidana needs to beat somebody in the top 10 at 147. Josesito going back to 140 so that's out the picture. He'll probably get the winner of Aydin vs. Soto Karass. Or if Guerrero loses to Floyd it might make sense to reschedule Maidana vs. Guererro. And Keith Thurman is still out there to, the guy he backed out of the fight with because he didn't qualify as a "tune up".

Aww fuck, just peeped that on boxrec. Well, Maidana vs. Aydin/Soto-Karass would be entertaining. Thurman could possibly derail Chino, so I wonder if he'd go for that fight now. Does he wanna be used as a stepping stone? lol

A more defensive minded Khan boxes circles around the plodding Maidana and turn it into a replay of the first fight: Maidana bedazzled by Khan's hand speed, and later on looking for that one big shot.
